The sustainability angle, and whether it matters

LEED Platinum and Fitwel 3 Star are not marketing words. They are certifications with audits attached, covering energy, water, materials and occupant health. In practice they usually mean lower running costs and better resale positioning as UAE buyers get more sophisticated about service charges and utilities.

The thing to check is whether the certification is targeted or achieved. At launch it is always targeted. Ask what happens contractually if it is not achieved.

Aldar has not published prices for The Wilds Residences.

When is handover?

2030.

What certifications is it targeting?

LEED Platinum and Fitwel 3 Star. Both are targeted at this stage rather than achieved, which is normal at launch.
