Why the Dubai Water Canal
The Dubai Water Canal is one of the most limited waterfront corridors in the city. It is a fully developed urban spine with very few remaining plots. It is bounded by Business Bay, Safa Park, Jumeirah and DIFC. Unlike a master planned community there are no future large scale land releases on the canal. That creates a fixed supply environment. The developer compares it to Central Park frontage in New York, the Thames riverfront in London and Marina Bay in Singapore.
