Living in Dubai Science Park

Dubai Science Park is a member of TECOM Group and a free zone for the science, health and pharma value chain. It was formed in 2015 when TECOM merged DuBiotech, set up in 2005, and EnPark, set up in 2007, as The National reported at the time.

Dubai Science Park says it hosts more than 90 laboratories and more than 6,500 professionals. Its residential area includes Montrose Residence and Villa Lantana, and its retail sits in Barsha South.

Getting around

There is no metro station inside Dubai Science Park. Binghatti, which builds here, gives Mall of the Emirates as the nearest metro station and quotes about 24 minutes to Dubai International Airport and to The Dubai Mall. Those are the developer’s figures, so check them at your own travel times.

Schools, healthcare and shopping

Dubai Science Park lists Repton, Kings’ School Al Barsha and GEMS schools nearby. Repton Al Barsha is in Al Barsha South and teaches the British curriculum with IGCSE and A Levels for ages 3 to 18. For healthcare it lists Mediclinic Parkview, Medcare Medical Centre and Emirates Hospital. For shopping it lists My City Centre Al Barsha, with Mall of the Emirates nearby.
